Shopping Stroll Deluxe – We are Going on a Shopping Tour of Europe’s Most Beautiful Metropolises

Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Amsterdam – Europe’s cities are inviting you to shop and discover. We travel to all of these beautiful metropolises searching for new fashion pieces.

Are you already planning your next destination? In spring we’re getting ready to (re)discover the world and sip our coffee on the terrace of a café. Spring makes everything new especially when it comes to choosing clothes. Winter sweaters are put away and new trends and lighter colors are allowed to move into your dresser. Our spring tip for you is to: combine both and plan a Fashion City Trip!

Whether it’s a weekend trip or a whole week’s vacation – we travel to four European metropolises for our shopping trip:

Paris

Paris might be known as the city of love but it is also home to many boutiques. It could take a whole day’s stroll to find all of the boutiques that are scattered throughout the city. Plan breaks in between shopping to visit the beautiful cafés. The capital of France offers luxurious fashion and haute couture. On the “Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré”, the “Champs-Élysées” and the “Avenue Montaigne”, for example, you can admire the collections of the great designers. The Galeries Lafayette department store is also impressive. Plan to check out flea markets or the Marais district for something a little more off the beaten path.

Milan

The fact that Fashion Week takes place there confirms that Milan is a fashion mecca. The northern Italian city offers glamour and luxury from designers such as Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Armani. Above the cathedral square in the “Quadrilatero della Moda” and in the “Via Monte Napoleone” there are boutiques, antique shops, and cafés.

Barcelona

Besides the shopping mile “Carrer de Sants” and the luxury shopping street “Paseo de Gracia” Barcelona has other hidden gems for the fashion enthusiast.  The artistic district “Barri Gothic” with its winding streets and individual boutiques offers the basis to get hold of something unusual. Sunny weather beautifies the trip into the city and invites you to an ice cream.

Amsterdam

You have to love Amsterdam! The Dutch city offers various districts for shopping and exploring. “De Pijp” is a colorful and lively district with interesting shops, the large Albert Cuyp flea market and beautiful cafés. In the “9 Straatjes” you can discover boutiques of young designers as well as delis for lunch and art galleries. “Dam Square” and its side streets are considered the main shopping area. Our tip: Rent a bike. So you can explore several districts and experience the special flair of the canals.
