New in July: From Chile to Bavaria…

Our photographers are beginning to widen their circles… We dare to look across oceans and toward distant Chile. Hardly any other country in the world has such an enormous variety of nature.

We will also be roaming through the canton of Grisons in Switzerland on demanding hiking trails. In Germany, new and exciting perspectives can be discovered again and again. Be it the cool beauty of the northern German pearl Hamburg or the likeable, primal cyclist’s paradise of Upper Bavaria.

Chile by Günther Bayerl

Chile – here are miles of dream beaches, fertile wine-growing areas, snow-covered volcanic peaks and breathtaking desert landscapes. Due to its geographical location, the elongated South American country has many extremely different climatic and vegetation zones. Günther Bayerl has captured the unusual diversity.

Hamburg by Helge Bias

Helge Bias shows us a cool, almost inaccessible Hamburg, photographed shortly after sunrise. From the Niederbaum bridge into the Hafencity he leads us through lonely streets and squares of the north German metropolis. The otherwise busy town hall square and the idyllic Elbe beach present themselves deserted. The pearl of the north – expressive and peculiarly untouched.

Cycling in Upper Bavaria with Andreas Strauss

Andreas Strauß cycles to take us along the Chiemsee Cycle Path and the Benedikt Cycle Path through Upper Bavaria. It passes through picturesque little towns such as Wasserburg and Altötting, along the Salzach and Inn rivers, through the Chiemgau region to the “Bavarian Sea,” the romantic Lake Chiemsee. In the background, the Bavarian Alps rise majestically as if it were in a picture book.

Grisons by Franz Marc Frei

The canton of Grisons, the largest and only trilingual canton in Switzerland, is a typical mountain highland. 41 percent of Grisons residents live at altitudes above 1000 meters. Franz Marc Frei hikes with us over the Splügenpass to neighboring Lombardy in Italy. Pure relaxation in quiet seclusion.
