Our Munich-based headquarters StockFood GmbH is given a new company name by Sep.1st, 2019: StockFood GmbH becomes Image Professionals GmbH. Our company, which originally focused on food photography, has continuously expanded its scope of business in recent years and is now following up with a new company name. Image Professionals will bring together all of our company’s specialized agencies and services. However, only the company is being renamed. StockFood, the food photo agency, will remain unaffected.
Nearly forty years ago StockFood started as a food image agency in Germany and thus began a rare success story. Today StockFood is regarded as the only global brand for professional food photography and is known across all borders. The name StockFood is a passionate commitment and will shape our food image agency in the future.
As the name of our company, however, it has increasingly caused confusion and dilution. In recent years, we have expanded our portfolio to include a number of non-food agencies, with successful brands such as living4media, seasons.agency, Friedrich Strauss and lookphotos.
In addition, today we offer many services for professional image users such as the photo and video production service StockFood Studios, various offers in the field of professional recipewriting, our own image editing service as well as the administration of license rights in the field of rights control.
The renaming was not an easy decision to take, but it is ultimately a logical step that makes sense. Thanks to the renaming, the agency StockFood will now be able to focus fully on its core subject matter again. At the same time, the new company name will allow Image Professionals to develop independently into the future.
Image Professionals unites in future all our special image agencies and services under one roof. All our agency brands, including StockFood, will continue unchanged. In the future, however, all brands will be operated under the legal umbrella of Image Professionals GmbH. The new website www.imageprofessionals.com provides an overview of all business areas of Image Professionals GmbH.
The change to Image Professionals GmbH is merely a company name change. All licenses, contracts and company registrations will remain in full force and effect.
