Megan Martin is a professional photographer based in New York City. She specializes in food, still life, interiors, architecture, lifestyle and travel. Road-side coconuts from her recent trip to Costa Rica are documented on her blog.
Megan Martins home is in Brooklyn where she shares an apartment with her cat. But travel and adventure are her forte.
Megan was raised “free-range” on several acres in Upstate New York. There she acquired her love of the outdoors and adventure. She now resides in more cramped quarters in Brooklyn with her cat. She enjoys cycling, yoga, playing the violin, sitting on the stoop of her building, taking hammock naps, cheap airfare and the occasional Bloody Mary. In her spare time she volunteers to work with children.
Megan has been working on still photography productions since 2005. Starting with still life and food photography, she’s expanded her expertise to include interior and architecture work, travel, and environmental portraits. Exploring the world and meeting people from different cultures have become her passion. She travels abroad frequently, making new friends, experiencing new things and ideas, braving the street food, and dancing as much as possible.
