The Eternal City in the right light – that’s what our photographer Olaf Meinhardt captured. Because Rome has many faces, which only unfold their full effect depending on the lighting mood.
When the sun shines on the magnificent Colosseum or in winding alleys and later bathes St. Peter’s Basilica in the last light of day, it paints a fantastic backdrop for the street musicians. In the moments of sunset, the city begins to shine: Romans and tourists alike love the evening light that caresses ancient columns and sculptures, until later, mystical and gentle, the night sky settles over the Ponte Sisto.
